Christmas Tree Lightning – December 2 – 4p to 8p

It’s the season to be jolly and La Alameda is ready to go into the Christmas gear. Come start the Christmas celebrations by attending our Christmas tree lighting. La Alameda Christmas Tree is a 32-feet Christmas tree that is lit every year at the plaza center court and the tree lighting is capped off by a snowfall and the arrival of Santa Claus.

Our traditional Christmas tree lighting this holiday season invites the entire community to participate one more time in “Bringing The Light To The Christmas Tree” .

This magnificent event will start with a Pastorela play followed by our traditional candle light peregrination accompanied by a mariachi at 6:00pm from Panda Express and will go around the entire shopping center and will end by returning to the plaza to start the festivities with the Christmas tree lighting and to continue with Christmas carols and a Mexican band playing Christmas songs and ending with a traditional appearance by Santa Claus.

Over the next five weeks, families can enjoy the holiday decorations and lights at the plaza and it’s the perfect opportunity to bring the whole family to celebrate the holiday season and take a picture with Santa.
